The Unknown

This week’s assignment is ‘The Unknown’. This theme is to test student’s creativity with their use of Composition. The aim is to create an image that is interesting to look but no one will recognize what it is!! This is when your use of composition and framing really needs to get creative!!

Lots of excellent entries were submitted and here are the winning two.

The peoples vote goes to Sophie Fisher for taking a shot that looks to me like those nebula photos that NASA send out! A well-deserved winner and it definitely has and interesting look with that ‘what is it?’ feeling. Great response to the theme.

My vote goes to Paul Baker. Again, this has the ‘What is it’ feeling and I like the colours and shallow depth of field. Really good ‘abstract’ shot!
