Pattern

This week’s photography assignment was ‘Pattern’. This is set to test our students’ use of composition and get them to look at the ordinary in a different way. Composition in photography is one of the first things to master and looking for patterns is a great technique to add some interest to a shot.

From the gallery of entries, the people’s vote goes to Teigan Moore. A clean, crisp shot of a ceiling. 😊 Great response to the theme.

My vote this week goes to Vini Pereira for this great shot of a flower pot, yes, a flower pot! A great example of how pattern can make a usually normal object look interesting. Well done Vini.
