Familiar Faces
This task separates the men from the boys! Portraiture is one of the hardest disciplines in Photography. On top of controlling the elements of photography you have be confident enough to interact with people and then show a feeling or mood through that person. Well done to all learning photographers who tackle this subject and especially to my latest group entries!
The winning images from our gallery of entries are…..
The people’s vote goes to Lee Jefford for this shot of his Dad. A stare into the lens gives this shot a moody feeling which forces the viewer stare back. A well-deserved people vote!
My vote goes to Mick Stearn for this fun shot of teenagers hanging out. Portraiture doesn’t have to be set up, it can be candid to give a more natural feel which is happening here. Great response to the theme.
