Abstract

This week’s task was ‘Abstract’. This was set to test students’ creative use of Composition. A perfect abstract shot is one that looks interesting but isn’t obvious enough as to what the subject actually is.

Lots of excellent entries were submitted into the gallery of images - here are the winning two.

The peoples vote goes to Christine Murton for this shot here. Nice touch including some pattern in the scene, a good response to the theme – well done.

My vote goes to Mark Sterling for this different take on a tractor! This is a response to our shutter speed lesson where you use your manual settings to create this crazy effect. Excellent job, well done Mark.
