Abstract
This week’s task was ‘Abstract’. This theme to test student’s creativity with their use of framing. Abstract means non-representational so a good abstract picture will be one that looks interesting but you won’t necessarily know what it is. This is where your use of composition and framing really needs to get creative!!
Lots of excellent entries were submitted and here are the winning two.
The peoples vote goes to Mia Davies. A well-deserved winner and the shallow DOF really gives it the ‘what is it?’ feeling. Great composition and response to the theme.
My vote goes to Mick Stearn. I like this because at first you don’t quite know what’s going on but at a closer look you notice the photographer in the reflection. Very clever, well done Mick.
