Space Review

Last month’s assignment was ‘Space’. Normally in photography, you would want to fill the frame or exclude any pointless space, sometimes referred to as ‘negative space’. But adding space into your composition can be a really good thing as long as you use it to compliment the mood and feeling your subject.

I set this assignment to get you thinking differently in how you compose a picture in regards to the negative space you use within it.

We had loads of amazing entries, so it was hard to choose our favourites. But here at The School of Photography, we have picked a few that we liked the best. To join in with these assignments please sign up to our TSOP Membership here.
